Print is where it all began for me. My experience stems back to doing paste up on a light table and using a stat camera. Some of my best memories of my working career are from scrambling to get the pages done and off to the printers on pressday.

A solid background
I started my print design career in my father's studio. He was a freelance book designer, who specialized in children's educational textbooks. That meant leaning how to do paste-up. When the Mac first came out we designed a cookbook together for Summerville House. It was set in Palatino and we used a little crab from the dingbat font Cairo. After a year or two I made my way in to the magazine business at a trade paper called "Strategy".
Print
From books and magazines to posters and packaging I have used my skills as a designer widely across this medium. I have even designed a pair of 3d glasses!
